I know LG is just a half assed site, but the comments there are absolute poison. Everything is a joke, the comments in the post saying Keith left the ETID tour for a family emergency is what made me post this. Fuck those lonely pieces of shit. I love this site.

Lambgoat is the 4chan for Hardcore and Metal. Can't take anything there seriously.

The only reason lambgoat still exists is because you can post anonymously.

Not only Lambgoat, same with sites like Sputnikmusic. All trolling, no serious comments. The Marsh is a great place to hang.

I always found it interesting how different sites develop and sustain their own culture. For Lambgoat it seems to just be pure nihilism and everyone trying to outdo each other with edginess to fit in with the other users. Like how the fuck does "van flip please" become an acceptable comment? And how do people enjoy being part of that community?
The marsh is so much better than that.

Never been on there, based on the comments in the thread I never will either. I guess i just stuck to the Mush since I first joined like 10 years ago or something in the DiSv2-3 days.

All true. ...at the same time... every once in a while, i kind of enjoy the unabashedly negative and cynical shit on there, just sometimes. It can be good for a brief laugh. There are a couple trolls there that are pretty good at what they do. (I usually keep it to just the comments on the music news.) But, yes, in general it's just a little too much.

Lambgoat has always been a weird site. I remember going there back in the day for news, reading comments, and just thinking "what the fuck is this noise?".

I think sometimes the OTT negativity can be enjoyable to read if you agree with the view, and there are probably some genuinely funny people on there. But yeah, in general, no.

I remember visiting Lambgoat daily back in high school, like 10 years ago. It was all the rage and back then was when I thought it was funny to be a dick. I remember using the lingo with friends who were also into the site like we were trendy as fuck. But then you grow up and realize that most of the comments on there are just people shouting into the void. I still think it can be a great source of information and some of the comments can discuss rumors or drama that only people in the scene going to shows can clarify but the majority of the time it is all trash comments.

Like how the fuck does "van flip please" become an acceptable comment? That, really. Although Lambgoat is a good site only for the music news. I'll hardly read any comments.
