Now taking bets on the Myles Garrett suspension, I'm thinking six games minimum. I think he'll be extremely lucky and better count his blessings if he ever plays another down in the NFL again. It's one thing to tear off a guy's helmet, but to then use it as a weapon is entering a whole new realm. Keyshawn Johnson said it best. Imagine if he would have hit him with with the crown of the helmet instead. Mason Rudolph was definitely not in the right for what he did, either, but once the helmet came off then that should have been the end of it. Looks like they suspended him indefinitely. "The NFL announced Friday that the Cleveland Browns defensive end has been suspended for the rest of this season, including the playoffs should the Browns make it, and will have to meet with the commissioner's office before being reinstated in 2020." And, on top of that, he now has to be ready for whatever legal route Mason Rudolph may take.

I wonder if it hurts harder to get punched wearing a football helmet or being the one who makes the fist and punches the football helmet.

Did I miss this in previous seasons, or is this the spin the football after plays year? Lol, I see so often players finishing plays by attempting to spin the football on the ground. It’s kind of fun, and now I’m always anticipating it on each big play. Hahaha
Edit: Damn, I never expected the game to look like this almost at the halftime. Ekeler is actually on schedule to boom if his action is continued in similar fashion in the second half, and by the looks of it from what I can tell, they’re keeping Mahomes in check. I expected more explosive results from Mahomes by now, but the second half can bring a lot of change. Exciting game, actually.

It used to happen all the time in football until the NFL decided it warranted a 15 yard taunting penalty awhile back for some stupid fucking reason. It came back to relevance when NFL eased up on all their stupid excessive celebration penalities. I like the celebrations now, the players went overboard when they were first given freedom but they've settled down into reasonable territory now, and the defense group photo is one of my favorite celebrations ever.

I wonder if it hurts harder to get punched wearing a football helmet or being the one who makes the fist and punches the football helmet. My guess is that it hurts more to do the punching. At least being punched, you have all of the padding of the helmet cushioning the blow as much as possible. The only protection your hand has if you're doing the punching is a glove if you wear one. Of course, if you're as stupid as Odell Beckham Jr. and A.J. Green and hit the facemask, then that definitely hurts more.

My beloved Falcons (RIP 2019 Season) play this Sunday and then again on Thanksgiving Thursday. I hope that 3 days of rest is enough between games. Would love to see us blue-shell the s'Aints again!

Ughhh just realized I'll be in the air during the OSU Penn State game tomorrow and I'm not happy about it.

Ughhh just realized I'll be in the air during the OSU Penn State game tomorrow and I'm not happy about it. I don't have a dog in that fight, but as a Michigan fan I can't decide if I want Penn State to pull off an upset or if I'd rather see Ohio State be undefeated and, although extremely unlikely, be upset by Michigan. Actually, no. I don't care if Penn State pulls off an upset- I just want to see Michigan fucking win finally. =(

Been seeing a few talking heads at ESPN picking Michigan to beat Ohio State tomorrow and that has me really fucking nervous and excited at the same time. If we don't win, I hope we at least keep the Buckeyes from steamrolling us like they did last year.

Well, damn. This was a good game until the second quarter when Michigan's defense decided to quit playing.
