Man I'm so stoked for F1 to start again. Been watching Nascar and last weekend Indycar started again as well so I've been watching that. Drive to Survive got me hyped for it to come back. I’m wondering how the lack of fans will impact the excitement. I know it’s one of those sports where the crowd are kind of an irrelevance, but empty stands will still feel kinda weird.

Indycar is cool when they aren't racing on ovals, I just hate oval races for a multitude of reasons. I wanna say I'll pay attention to Indy this year but it's kind of arriving around the same time as F1 and I'm going to focus on that primarily. Just anything to get me stop watching NASCAR!

I barely notice the stands when I'm watching an F1 race. Ofcourse you see a lot of people but I mainly focus on the drivers/cars and their on board camera's. Today F1 annnounced that Singapore, Japan & Baku won't be holding a F1 race this year. Major bummer since I love all three of them but it looks like it's going to be an almost all europe WC season. USA hasn't been cancelled yet but with so much shit going on there I wouldn't be surprised that they will postpone that one too.

Glad to see Russell improving (P16 in FP3). Poor Alfa though, seeing Kimi in place 19 isn't something that makes me happy. At least I know how great of a driver he is that he can improve and end in the points if his car doesn't fall apart.
Also Red Bull reported the DAS system used by mercedes but the FIA deemed it legal for them to use.

Dat grid doe! This is going to be a real fun year for the midfield, if only Mercedes wasn't involved.

This race was just amazing. Glad that Norris got a podium and a lot of DNF. Latifi almost scored a point for Williams lmao.

He must absolutely hate Lewis lmao Albon had a brilliant day too, last year he seemed content to be the sixth fastest car on the track, today he seemed a different driver ready to bring the attack to the big boys and fight for positions and a possible win. I think he matured a lot as a driver over the break. Crazy crazy race, was happy to see Lando get his first podium and I'm even more excited that we get to do the whole damn thing over again next week!

Red Bull will be on the revenge hunt this weekend. Albon improved a lot during the break. Even Russell/Latifi showed promising results despite their cars. Even though Latifi was just cruising in the back taking advantage of the DNF's in front of him his pace was good despite having a terrible car. I hope Vettel will be able to show something besides showing the world how his spinning skills have improved.

Interested to see the Ferrari this weekend with the new aero package. Great race this past weekend though, glad Hamilton got the 5 second penalty. If this first race showed anything, it showed that the mid pack is slowly inching closer to being competitive. Next year is going to be a blast with the new rules and regulations.

Wish they just gave his seat to a new rookie but curious to see how he will perform.

Wish they just gave his seat to a new rookie but curious to see how he will perform. Prediction time! Alonso out qualifies Ocon in 3/4 the races, get's really frustrated with Renault's pace about 5 races in and openly mopes about it for the rest of the season. Retires after one year of his contract because he can't be competitive.

Maybe if McLaren hand over their units to Renault from this year that they might have a shot at it lmao.
