Love - on Netflix Attack on Titan - Season 2; just started today Twin Peaks - Finishing season 2 one episode a night with my girlfriend so we can start watching the new stuff! It's her first time. 30 Rock - who needs a reason to binge this at work? Atlanta - almost done with season 1 Atlanta was so good man, keen to hear your thoughts on it.

Started The Keepers last night. Netflix docu-series similar to Making a Murderer. Pretty fucking dark so far.

Anybody watch Brockmire on IFC? I watched the first 3 episodes last night and I think it's really funny so far. I also usually like Hank Azaria so that probably helps

To give you a little background, I'm a white, middle-class, heterosexual man from a religious, rural community in Arizona who grew up never knowing the struggles of people unlike me simply due to lack of exposure. I know it's no substitute for the real thing (that's why I was traveling and taking odd jobs around the country for upwards of three years recently), but shows and movies like this are more than just entertainment for me. They're a chance to try to exercise empathy in unfamiliar situations, and I just eat that shit up. Not to over simplify this stuff, but I'm interested in people and their problems. Atlanta was dope because it's set in a very unfamiliar place to me, and I was locked in from the moment it started. Does that answer your question?

Found myself watching Jessica Jones lately, had watched the first episode a few months ago and wasn't really into it. Decided to give it another spin and it's been pretty enjoyable about half way through.

Rewatching Sons of Anarchy. Still like it a lot but some episodes seem way more forced on the second view.

Decided to give it another spin and it's been pretty enjoyable about half way through. I did that as well. Gave up when I first watched it, but gave it another chance and loved it overall. Opposite with Iron Fist though. Enjoyed the first few episodes but then it went to shit.

Started The Keepers last night. Netflix docu-series similar to Making a Murderer. Pretty fucking dark so far. Just finished this. It wasn't as gripping/well told as Making a Murderer but still a really powerful story.
