Nice! Season two doesn't get the love it deserves IMO. The show stopped being just a (mostly) run of the mill psychological cyber thriller and almost became art house at certain points. It really helped cement how truly disorienting Elliot's mind is. I loved the first season. couldn't get enough of it - will need to give the second season another shot after putting it down because i wasn't hooked on the first few episodes

I completely missed out on the premiere of season 3, excited to let them all play and just binge watch them at once instead now

Very satisfied with S03 so far. Any thoughts on where they'll go from here?

I just finished season 3 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Has anyone else seen it? Thoughts?

I just finished season 3 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Has anyone else seen it? Thoughts? I was having a good time with it at first even though the beginning of the season felt a little off. By the third or fourth episode it was settling into its groove, and from the fifth on it was consistently great. But then that fucking finale. God damn. Monumentally satisfying. Finales are usually bittersweet to me because the big-reveals feel flat, and the major, earth-shaking conflict of that season's arc is lackluster or over-inflated. There's too little pay-off for what you were expecting. That's something I like about this show, though. Instead of making a spectacle of these events, it feels subdued. Maybe even restrained? In a mature and thoughtful way, though. This ending (like Season 2's) felt genuine and natural. Visually stunning through and through. And that post-credits scene did not disappoint one bit.

I agree 100%. After the first couple of eps of season 3 I was wondering where it was going, the season as a whole exceeded my expectations. I really like how, as you say, its mature and thoughtful in the way it deals with events and even things such as mental health. I also really enjoy how each character actually feels like a character and like they have their own personalities, too often in TV shows there are just generic characters that feel hollow. And while the ending may have felt subdue, when you think about it was it really?
Whats going to happen now that the hack can be undone? What is elliot and darlene going to do? Whats Price going to do? (fight the dark army?) How does Wellick fit into the above? What is the dark army planning to do now? (especially as the 5/9 hack doesnt matter to them now) What role does the Congo play in this? Has Angela come out of her crisis? What part will she play? Will di piero toe the line? Will Irving come back? Who were the guys in the post-credits scene?
Sooooooooo many questions I am eagerly awaiting the answer for.

Sooooooooo many questions I am eagerly awaiting the answer for. I'm going to try to answer all of those as briefly as I can, because I could probably run far with some of those. Although the whole thing was a large production with many twists and turns, it still did feel subdued to me. There were hardly any quick takes or sudden movements. (Except my boy LEON, and Irvings little bit of relaxation with the axe.) The music wasn't super loud. Everything carried on as normal, it's just that so many threads came to a head at once. I really dig that.
The hack will be undone. I think there's some truth to what that Marxist prostitute at the end was saying about how if things went back to the way they were before that things would still be awful. (I'm paraphrasing her, though.)
Elliot and Darlene will have their hands full with that "brave traveler" from the post-credits scene for a little while. More on him later. I also think that Angela [at some point before the end of the show] will yet again become a force to be reckoned with, and that Price will somehow help Elliot take on forces above him. Tyrell will most likely have a role in this. Tyrell is going to need some kind of motivator to get started, and he may very well be killed in the next season. Not evidence for that. Just a hunch based on who is most expendable at this point.
Fuck knows what the Dark Army is doing. Lots of interesting theories on the internet, though. Check Reddit for this one.
I think it may have to do with being isolated and/or the absence of certain laws/regulations Whiterose may be wary of.
Angela will most likely continue until the end of the show, but idk if she'll just snap out of this funk. Something needs to get her fired up again.
DiPiero will do as she's told, but I'm betting she'll start to cut corners and need to be.... *ahem*... reminded.
Irving will probably be back in a limited sense, and I hope they give Leon more to do. I love his commentary on old sitcoms. Really makes the character!
Our friends in the post-credits scene are going to fuck shit up. That main dude, the one giving Darlene creepy vibes, is Vera. He supplied drugs Shayla in the first season and then killed her. Elliot was forced into helping him escape jail, then he disappeared. REALLY thrilled to see that guy pulled back into the mix.

The subdue pace of the show seems to me to run in parallel with what Elliot is going through with his mental health. One moment hes relaxed, laid back and everythings fine (mainly through meds), then its not...maybe I'm reading too much into it.
Interesting thoughts on your behalf, will be interesting to see what does happen, especially with Tyrell, I didnt see them killing off Joana. I personally dont think they will kill him off as he has been fucked over so much and has so much motivation for revenge.
I agree with DiPiero - I think she is going to understand the position he boss was in, she will play both sides like he did, but she will assist Elliot and co.
Leon is exactly what I mean by each character has character, essentially hes just a hitman/protector but hes just such a bad ass.
Im going to have to rewatch Mr Robot from the start I think.
