Maybe my tastes are just too simple to get it but I cannot stand all this god fahim/mach hommy/westside gunn/griselda stuff. I guess conway is ok but the rest..they also seem to drop albums daily.

Dont worry.. To each his own Cant argue tastes in music.. But to me, (I grew up with 90s hiphop) the whole GxFR movement is nothing but a blessing.. Dark, soulful beats.. No mumble rap, grimey bars & nice punchlines, wordplays. Mach Hommy & TGF are not GxFR, but they got some hard joints too and are most likely next up. Hiphop is alive and well, just like hardcore Peace.

I feel like I just watched a poor man's Wu-Tang. It's not bad though, definitely better than 90% of the garbage out there today. Seriously though, how the fuck did "mumble rap" get so popular? I tried listening to a few artists and that shit just makes me feel whack, I don't get it at all. B-|

RIP
Nineteen seventy four, mutherfucker I was born with pain My moms and my pops pass it down to me So don't talk to me about can I feel yours 'Cause I ain't feelin' you at all, your pain is impure
You cryin cause you grew from the projects That's not pain, that's emotions, you a bitch I'm talkin' bout permanent, physical suffering You know nothin' about that, you just complain cause you stress
Nigga, my pain's in the flesh And through the years that pain became my friend; sedated With Morphine as a little kid I built a tolerance for drugs, addicted to the medicine
Now hospital emergency treat me like a fiend I rather die sometimes I wish a nigga O.D. Beggin' God for help, only to find that I'm all by my god damn self Ay, You can never feel my pain nigga

Dunno, I love his passion and respect his neverending grind & hustle. Some songs turn out really dope, some are just average. No comment on mumble fuckbois

checking this out now. How is it? I like his Three 6 Mafia work and his tapes with Lex Luger. That guy's a hero, but I've been rather cautious since he works together with Wiz.
