I personally feel like both of these record labels haven't been putting out material that I'm interested in listening to in the past 5 years. I do remember a. In the early 2000s where these were both the two hottest labels
Which label do you like better? Which label do you think has a better back-catalogue? Which label do you think has had success signing some of the acts in the more recent years?

I like both labels but Deathwish kill it for me with some of the bands on their roster, both old and current:
Converge Birds in Row The Carrier Killing The Dream Oathbreaker Cult Leader Loma Prieta Modern Life is War The Hope Conspiracy Young and in the Way Frameworks Doomriders Harm's Way Lewd Acts Touche Amore United Nations A Life Once Lost Cursed Punch Reign Supreme Rise and Fall Some Girls
Maybe I'm showing my age a bit but some of these bands are responsible for getting me into hardcore and keeping me into it

Most Deathwish albums have the same dark feel. It's consistent, but I prefer the "lighter" Bridge 9 vibes.

Both of their older catalogs have a plethora of amazing bands, in recent years... not so much. Gonna have to go with Deathwish though. In those earlier years they signed bands that spoke to me more than the more "posi" B9.

Deathwish cause I'm a pessimist and the music speaks to me.

While I do love B9, Deathwish just has to take the cake. Their roster is just unbeatable

I like both, but feel like B9 definitely has the better back catalog whereas Deathwish has the better chance to thrive in this moment. B9 is really just where bands that were once hot go to die off. Backtrack, Expire, Alpha & Omega, Rude Awakening were all super popular at a time and by the time they got to B9 they were past their prime. Other than RA the others' had really boring albums while on there. I'm not really connected with Deathwish as much so I could be totally wrong, but they have hit the jackpot more so lately though it seems not every band they are associated with has put great material out FOR Deathwish.

Had to even it out, Bridge9 for sure, Deathwish is hit or miss for me but I generally like all the stuff put out on Bridge9. Have Heart is still a usual spin for me haha and Jesus Piece/Malice at the Palace split was monstrous. Deathwish is still dope though.

Totally see where your coming from. You can add cross me and bent life to that list to imo. Both bands we're super hot and after releasing material on b9 I didn't hear any hype
