I'm a lazy cook. Tacos, burritos and pasta are my go to because they're easy.

Im doing ribs this weekend for my first time. I have an oven and a grill at my disposal, any tips/ recipes? My mom used to make ribs in the oven. A quick and easy way to get them juicy and tender. I only smoke ribs which you will have to have a smoker to do so. Not sure how you could do them on a regular grill, but I am sure its possible.

Bacon done in the oven is the best. Can't stand the oil that loves splashing you in the arms and face when done in the pan.

You can, but your grill has to be big enough to carry the ribs with indirect heat while only having heat on the other side of the grill. May have to half your racks. Gas grill I imagine? Get a cast iron smoker box (they are not that big or pricy either) and sit it on the heated side. Use wood chips (Oak, Hickory or Apple....I usually mix 2 of the 3), soaked for at least 2 hours. Also, get a dollar store small aluminum pan and put some apple juice in it to provide moisture. The trick will be keeping your grill at about 225-250 degrees. 3 hours smoke, 2 hours wrapped (heavy duty foil), 1 hour (or to 195 internal temp) unwrapped and sauced. The last trick with the grill will be to try not to open it unless necessary, and if you do open it, get apple cider vinegar and put it in a spray bottle and spray the ribs when you do open it.
