Libre, Open, Googledocs. All perfectly fine as word processors.
Although none of you care about the details, but unfortunatly in my line of work its just another stupid thing I need to know.
Office 2016 can be installed with out a key but you will have limited features. You need a license key to make it work, but the issue is that the license key is stored on the MS servers and it checks in alllll the time, for updates n' stuff. So thats why you may find it hard to find a 2016 office. (Not sayings its impossible)
Same with 2013 that its on the MS Server but its only the first half of the key, like the first 15 characters. So when you one Belarc/jellybean(you name it, ive used it) on a machine with 2013, you get the last half of the key. Still not ideal.
Then 2010 and below, you can normally get the full key, which is why you'd probably find a cracked version quite easily. But realistically before 2010 is pretty useless and you might aswell use some original reccomendations.
thanks for reading frens.
