So admittedly I never listened to Throwdown back when they were on top of the world in the hardcore scene, so I'm trying to play catchup now. You can very much hear their influence in bands now, and their style of metal/hardcore continues to thrive in the genre. Just wondered what memories people have of them and what songs are your favourite, etc

I love Haymaker. Such a fun angry album. YDHTBBTBF is a close number two (that's a funny acronym).

Haymaker is definitely the standout release IMO. I mean, you get chants like... "For myself, for my family, forever, straight-fuckin'-edge!" The edge scene ate that up!
Would also agree that You Don't Have To Be Blood To Be Family would be the 2nd best release.
Those two albums are definitely prime Throwdown. Off Haymaker, Walk Away, Forever, and Declare Your War are probably my favorite songs.

Definitely Haymaker for me. I was heavy into Trustkill Records and this sampler solidified my love for a lot of their bands.

This one was for the OG bros. First compilation album i think they put out, some really obscure bands on there but also great stuff like Most Precious Blood, Walls of Jericho, Nora, Eighteen Visions, and Shai Hulud.

Haymaker is one of my all time favorite albums, with Throwdown obviously being one of my all time favorite bands. I think Vendetta is criminally underrated. Such a solid fucking album and a great progression from Haymaker.

Such a solid fucking album and a great progression from Haymaker. Will definitely admit I never even gave Vendetta a chance... maybe I'll give it a shot now.
