Kids these days will never understand the pains of having to restart your video game system because one of the toggles was being turned when it was booted up and now everything wants to turn that way. I'm 32 I got more of this coming, I'm just a little drunk right now and don't care to ramble. When I hear the younger generation complain about something as if they expected it would’ve been easy or if they expected that the answer would’ve been provided to them, I often catch myself thinking, “Man, you must’ve been one of those kids who never beat the Water Temple growing up, huh?”

I couldn't fiinish it as a kid. Years later I played it again and I fucking yelled at my tv when I finished it. Also:

You guys pretty much nailed most of it.
One thing I feel like that needs to be addressed is kids growing up thinking they can become anything, when in reality theres no way in hell they can.
Bubble wrap kids come to mind. Also known as helicopter parents too. Participation awards? really?
All this PC bullshit thats hit the mainstream. Especially recently with James Gunn. C'mon.

These are excellent points. Agree with you 100%.

Participation awards? really? I played in a basketball league from 3rd through 10th grade. I was bad. I was usually on bad teams.
But EVERY year (and this is the early to mid 90s, mind you, not like last Tuesday) every single kid got a small trophy. I thought it was great. I still do. To have that physical reminder of playing my best even if i stunk, and all the practices that went into it, i liked that. That didn't ruin my childhood; it drastically enhanced it and was a nice thing to show off, even just to myself.
So, no, participation awards are cool. Youth sports are not supposed to represent some allegory for adult life (i.e. "you don't get a trophy for just showing up to work urrrgghhh so you shouldn't get one when you're five!"). That is asinine caveman thinking.

All this PC bullshit thats hit the mainstream. This is something that has been seriously bothering me for years. From that Chokehold bullshit to, indeed, the James Gunn thing. It makes me wanna stay away from all social media and just bingewatch Ricky Gervais shows.

It was very much needed, to weed out all the pieces of shit in the world. Especially Hollywood and the music scene. South Park has really handled it the best way with PC Principal.

Totally different than people not being able to take a rather extreme joke from Gunn. Chokehold are vegan metalcore legends (think Earth Crisis era). At a Canadian show, the singer said something about black lives matter and got into a scuffle with someone from the crowd. Fists flying, etc. Shit happens, no comment about that. Problem is that the person being hit seemed to be transgender, so Chokehold was immediately being labeled as a trans hating band.

Security was working the pit, a good dude named Al, tall guy with a pony tail. Super rad dude. Some hardcore kids were being assholes and really fucking hurting people. Al grabbed this one guys and was trying to tell him to calm the fuck down. The guys girlfriend was behind him and grabbed his pony tail and pulled. Al, not thinking, went to turn around and push the person back. Not knowing it was a girl, and like a foot shorter than he thought, he ended up grabbing her by the throat and pushing her back. Well, the band only saw that part, stopped the set, and called this dude out for beating up chicks. Stupidest fucking thing ever. They wouldn't play unless he was kicked out of the venue and then went on a huge rant about equality and how the dude was a piece of shit.

Im 28 so Im not quite there yet but I feel it. Everything hurts. I get mad at people who text me one line at a time. Please just text me the entire message or call me. I dont like having a cell phone as it is. I guess the other complaints are just silly house hold complaints (dishes needing to be washed,Trash taken out) I also use to be one of those guys who moshed to every band at a show, now i sweat tying my shoes. I guess these arent complaints about younger generations but more of me being a prude and getting old.

It makes me wanna stay away from all social media and just bingewatch Ricky Gervais shows. I am just down to twitter, and I have gotten to the point if I see someone post something incredibly stupid (even my good friends) they get the unfollow hammer. It makes me so mad and ruins my day so I have had to step away at times and even now I take breaks from twitter. Social Media is so awesome but at the same time it is possibly one of the worst things to happen to us. Social Media mobs suck because most of the time there arguments are unfounded with a bandwagon mentality.

-Social media "influencers" and instagram models have their heads shoved so far up their asses that they believe people should walk hand and knee below them. Absolutely pathetic how some dudes will buy them anything and everything just for a mention.
-I still have no idea what the fuck "yeet" means.
-This generations obsession of self-depreciating humor/memes is tiresome and I'm sick of it.
-I'm sick of the over saturation of superhero films and prequels/sequels. Film is dead.
