One anime per decade, max. Ah, but you should be able to make an exception for this because it was the one Oscar nominee you missed out in theaters.

Been wanting to see Justin Kurzel's "Macbeth" for a hot minute. The Standoff At Sparrow Creek looks fun, too. What do y'all think?

To give people time to access/buy/stream/steal whatever film we're going to choose, we should do so within a week or two i think.
And i feel like a new person should take the reigns and just pick a movie and have their turn to guide discussion.

It seemed to be trending that way, and I'd be cool with that, but let's lock it down by having whoever suggested it make it official soon.

I'll create the thread next Monday (to give people a full week to discuss Prospect).

I actually saw the release for “Clovehitch” at my work for $13. I’m considering just buying it instead of trying to request it through my library system.

Does anyone oppose to a faster deadline next time? Or am I just being greedy? I'm guessing about 75% of us will have a copy of Clovehitch lined up by the time essien puts a post up on Monday.

Im OK with that. I dunno... I think some of us get through more films than others. So there might be people who'd struggle to keep up. From my perspective, I quite like having complete autonomy and watching stuff when I'm in the mood for it. So having shorter deadlines and feeling like I *need* to watch something could make this feel a bit like a chore. Happy to go with the majority view though.
