lol TBH, there are some entries in that list that I just have no interest in seeing, and then there are entries in there that I do intend to see as soon as I can find them...

56 as well! Though certainly not the same movies. Neat.

Thanks for this. I'm at 11% (lol), but a lot of those on the list are films I've been meaning to check out and I've been looking for some inspiration as to what to watch lately.

52% for me. Not bad considering most of what I watch now is from 2019

80% for Dissolve, 60% for Letterboxd. I'm pretty happy with that.

I'm tempted to do a top 10 horror of the decade too. Watch this space. Now you've peaked my interest

I Saw The Devil 4. Hereditary 5. The Wailing 6. A Quiet Place 7. Sinister 8. IT 9. Midsommar 10. You're Next I tried to pick pure horror films. Interested to see yours!

Interested to see yours! it's funny as I made mine based on Letterboxd's definition of horror, ranked by my top rated over the 2010's and after a bit of juggling around, this is what i've come up with: 1. Snowtown (Not sure this counts as a horror but i'm sticking with their definition) 2. Hereditary 3. Midsommar 4. It Follows 5. The Innkeepers 6. A Quiet Place 7. Hush 8. The Battery 9. Green Room 10. Resolution What I did discover is that I definite dislike more horrors than I like. Think I've seen 158 across the last 10 years and only about 20 of those i'd give more than a 7/10 to.

So....this Letterboxd classification has highlighted a couple of omissions that they've labelled as Thriller instead, which has kinda made me rethink some things. I won't go and make a new list but here's a few titles deserving of Horror labels in my eyes, or at least Horror/Thriller:
Sleep Tight (2011) Calibre (2018) Super Dark Times (2017) Monsters (2010)

So my top 10 would be really different if I went by that criteria (not quite in order): 1. A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night 2. Mother! 3. The Conjuring 4. Neon Demon 5. I Saw the Devil 6. The Wailing 7. A Quiet Place 8. Hereditary 0. Annihilation 10. It Follows I tend to be pretty harsh when rating horror films compared to other genres. So even when I love something like It Follows or Hereditary, I don't normally give it anything higher than a 4/5. I haven't seen The Battery or Resolution, take it you'd recommend them?

I haven't seen The Battery or Resolution, take it you'd recommend them? Yeah definitely. For low budget horrors that I had no expectations of, The Battery is a zombie movie that left an impression on me, and Resolution was a really fun take on a cabin in the woods-style setup.
