I hate the concept of the "guilty pleasure" like the music you like and fuck everyone else, don't let a scene or preconceived notions dictate your own personal tastes. I listened to the fuck out of Lily Allen yesterday because the girl can fucking sing, no fucks given. I feel the same way. I like what I like and others can think what they want of it. I think a lot of people don't treat "guilty pleasures" as legitimately they are guilty and hiding it, more like "this is the artist that is the least like the music I usually listen to".

Nu Metal. I grew up on that shit and I'll still go through stages of listening to old Taproot, Spineshank and the like.

I enjoy pop like Rihanna and Bieber and trashy rap/hip-hop like Desiigner.

Daydream Beleiver by The Monkees may possibly be the greatest pop song ever written.

Agreed with tomwaghorn; not exactly "guilty pleasures" but just a different facet of a well rounded musical capacity. For the sake of discussion though, Jay Som's new album is quite excellent, and I'm looking forward to Lorde's new release.

I kind of like this new Volumes. Makes me feel guilty. The song Pulling Shades is catchy as fuck but I wouldn't admit to it.

Bieber. Bieber. Bieber. His new(est) album is a fucking banger. I also usually listen to the "Chill" station on sirius XM pretty much every time I am in my car.
Not really ashamed or embarrassed of anything I listen to tho.

I'm a sucker for those pop goes punk/metal covers. Currently jamming those two songs on repeat for the last few days when I'm driving to work haha.

Been listening to a lot of Indie lately, don't know how I feel about it. Blaming it on the summer and alcohol
