I really enjoyed Get Out. Not the typical jump scare bs that is released now.

Just watched Alien Covenant, disappointing. As much as I wanted to enjoy it, I didn't. It was good, but just felt unfinished.

I highly recommend The Void to anybody who likes Lovecraftian cosmic horror. Watched this the other night, great movie. Old school effects were great. Love the Lovecraft vibe as well.

The Witch The Blackcoat's Daughter Green Room (already mentioned but I recommend it. Not much of a horror film but definitely a slasher/thriller) Ouija: Origin of Evil The Autopsy of Jane Doe The Neon Demon (kinda spooky?) The Wailing (on Netflix, but make time for it because it's a long film) The Invitation Housebound The House of the Devil It Follows This guy for sure knows what's up! I would also add The Devils Candy, A Dark Song and They Look like People

I loved the practical effects in this. reminded me alot of the 80s 'The Thing'. Great low-budget horror flick. I highly recommend The Void to anybody who likes Lovecraftian cosmic horror.

The Invitation was the last truly intriguing 'horror/mystery' i watched. Also - randomly thought about 'The Orphanage' and 'Julia's Eyes' the other day - came out 2007 & 2010 respectively. anyone seen these international films?

What does everyone think about this new IT coming out? I'm hoping its fucking awesome. I think the trailer looks rad. I haven't seen a good horror movie in a long ass time.

Creepy, and somewhat touching. Julia's Eyes on the other hand, not too sure whether I'd recommend that one. Another decent horror/thriller from Europe is 'Sleep Tight'. Really disturbing stuff.
