Loved this movie. Denis Villeneuve is definitely becoming my top 3 of favorite directors.

While the first was less focused on the investigation by Deckard and more focused on existential questions, I really appreciated Villeneuve's investigative focus. I really enjoyed Leto's character Niander Wallace, though it seemed like a lot of his storyline was cut to develop him in future films. It's been hailed as the best sequel ever and I can't disagree - it's really a miracle that the studios didn't screw it up.

Villeneuve might be my new favorite director. 2049 was so well done on every plane. Sicario, Prisoners, Arrival. All just intense, original film.

This film was life-changing in the theatre. I hope it splits a bunch of the technical awards at the Oscars with Dunkirk.
