Yeah, I caught it last year as I introduced it to one of my brothers. You, though, should give some thought to seeing “Princess Mononoke”; I think you’ll enjoy that one.

My local cinemas have got Tarantino, Kore-eda and Lynch seasons coming up. Looks like I’ll be spending my summer at the multiplex. "Seasons"? Like, you have local movie theatres that just show old films from time to time? Must be nice. My town is a bit smaller than essien's but we still have Independence Day, Saving Private Ryan, Jaws, Groundhog Day, and The Italian Job all lined up over the summer

Gutted I missed it.

Hey, v9733xa, how worth it is it to go pro on LB?

Hey, v9733xa , how worth it is it to go pro on LB? Very! It was literally TWELVE dollars during their "Black Friday" sale last November. I mean, a dollar a month, c'mon. It's neat to be able to pin reviews on your profile, i guess, but i don't care much about that. The best part is that you can filter your activity list so you don't have to see all the "likes" and "adds" -- from losers like me -- crowing up that page preventing you from the other stuff you want to see more of. So, it's honestly worth it just for that.

The stats pages are fun too, if you’re a numbers guy.

The stats pages are fun too, if you’re a numbers guy. Oh yeah, i almost forgot about that. They're pretty neat; instead of waiting til the end of the year, you can look at all sorts of rad lists about what you've seen and how you "rank" genres, directors, years, etc. I've spent some time there.

Going to see “Toy Story 4” in half an hour. So many memories growing up with this series, I still remember my parents renting the VHS from Pick ‘n’ Save back in the day. Will report back later.

Hey, just a heads up, but it looks like TCM is having a trifecta of Japanese films that seem to be on quite a few "best of..." lists this Sunday night into Monday morning: Yasujiro Ozu's "I Was Born But..." (1932); this was remade by Ozu in the 50's, entitled "Ohayo". Shohei Imamura's "Pigs and Battleships" (1961), and Seijun Suzuki's "Branded To Kill" (1967)
So if these are in your personal watchlist, this should be a good opportunity to queue them up!
