crazytrain116 I like the cut of your jib. Not at all "new" as they're long disbanded like most people mention here, but Amarna Reign was way too good for this world. And stuartoxlade mentioned Oh Sleeper, which definitely counts. Lastly dude, In The Midst of Lions absolutely slammed. This band never got the recognition they deserved. Honorable mentions to Onward to Olympas, Blood of the Martyrs, and My Heart To Fear

I have no problem with older stuff including bands no longer together.

Def check out Sleeping Giant. I was at there second to last show here in Dallas and I realized how much this band will be missed. Their last release was damn solid by the way.
Honorable mentions (though some have already been prescribed)
A Plea for Purging xLooking Forwardx The first Close Your Eyes album. Venia Messengers (think they only had one release) Seventh Star

Nobody said it yet but the obvious band is Zao, especially early 90s Zao. Not sure if they exist anymore but basically any band on Solid State Records was driven by Jesus. Early Underoath or early As I Lay Dying, pretty sure both used it as a way to reach untapped markets though. In case you didn't know I think Tim Lambesis from AILD just got out of jail for hiring an informant to kill his wife.

No doubt they even release Internet only albums. That statement was mostly about Solid State, no idea if that label dissolved or not.
