Hate5Six uploaded a new live video of Kruelty, Japanese over the top beatdown hardcore, including ski masks and harsh death metal vocals. It's wild. I love it.
I know virtually nothing of the Japanese mosh/beatdown/hardcore-scene, apart from the older bands like Gauze, GISM and Death Side. Which is something totally different.
I've heard someone dropping a name like Straight Savage Style and telling that Japan has a ton of quality modern hardcore bands. Anybody over here that can recommend me some?

Two bands popping up are Sand and Numb, which are populair bands. I think it's boring, but you can listen for yourself.
P.s. did you went to see the Liar reunion show? And if so, how was it?

Thanks! Gonna give them a go.
Didn't go to the reunion show though. Heard it was a blast, but I'm an avid no-goer to shows since the last couple of years.

Straight Savage Style - A classic: Everybody that looked up beatdown knows the "Hardcore Pride" song. Besides that demo I know literally nothing about them. I wrote with the singer of Sand about them because I was curious if they have more. He told me they have like 2 albums out, but I never found something. Not even a mention of these albums elsewhere.
43 Urban - a japanese beatdown powerhouse. I know a lot of US meatheads loving these guys.
Murder Within Sin
Kill Dem Already
Press On Ahead - slow Slayer Riffs with gnarly vocals
Infidel
Public Menace - more modern "Deathcore" vibes. Still hard tho
