Oh, of course. #metoo wasn’t about being PC, it was about putting an end to horrible discrimination against women. Totally different than people not being able to take a rather extreme joke from Gunn. Chokehold are vegan metalcore legends (think Earth Crisis era). At a Canadian show, the singer said something about black lives matter and got into a scuffle with someone from the crowd. Fists flying, etc. Shit happens, no comment about that. Problem is that the person being hit seemed to be transgender, so Chokehold was immediately being labeled as a trans hating band. Fucking LOL I was at a show (Comeback Kid and Bane) in Ottawa. Security was working the pit, a good dude named Al, tall guy with a pony tail. Super rad dude. Some hardcore kids were being assholes and really fucking hurting people. Al grabbed this one guys and was trying to tell him to calm the fuck down. The guys girlfriend was behind him and grabbed his pony tail and pulled. Al, not thinking, went to turn around and push the person back. Not knowing it was a girl, and like a foot shorter than he thought, he ended up grabbing her by the throat and pushing her back. Well, the band only saw that part, stopped the set, and called this dude out for beating up chicks. Stupidest fucking thing ever. They wouldn't play unless he was kicked out of the venue and then went on a huge rant about equality and how the dude was a piece of shit. A modern day Rashomon.

Obligatory. I was wondering how long it would take for this to appear. I would have posted it myself but because my technology skills are at the level of someone at least twice my age I couldn't figure out how to do it. This forum is social media for me haha.

Here's something else I don't fucking get, kids nowadays apparently "graduate" everything I just did. Every year at the end of spring/early summer I see pictures of kids "graduating" kindergarten, 1st grade, 4th grade, 7th grade, all this bullshit. No! You graduate high school and college, everything else is just a mark of 2 months off.

So I watched KSI vs Logan Paul just out of morbid curiosity. This generation is weird.

So people need to seriously get there damn heads out of their technology when working out (I'm guilty of it though I might add when I'm at home).
My wife and I go to the local Y for our gym (pretty sweet facility I might add given they took over a preexisting facility) and I swear I do not know how the hell people expect to a get a good workout in when your head is buried in your damn phone still.
Also, if you are using a piece of free weight machinery and there is only 1 or 2 max of said device - get the f*** off of it in between sets and don't just sit on it like a complete derp.

I had graduation School events for preschool, middle school, etc. I think I am doing fine in life, or so I hope haha.

I don't get the sudden "plastic straws are killing our planet" movement. experts say that banning plastic straws will accomplish probably nothing at all. it might make some people in Hollywood feel good and bring good PR – like they're doing something, or bring more followers on instagram to you and me, but it's not going to solve any problems.

I'm 34. There are things that bother me about this generation but also things that I appreciate. What bothers me is the severe lack in individuality. It seems like everyone wants to be carbon copies of each other. Maybe if your not into all of the popular trends then you're considered an asshole, who knows, but it's very strange to me seeing them just gravitate to whatever is trending just because they don't want to be left out. The attention seeking element that social media encourages is a big problem in my opinion. Kids are literally getting killed trying to take dangerous selfies because of the likes they'll get.
What I like though is that, at least towards me, they are very polite and respectful. There's no bad attitudes or antagonistic behavior. I can actually have normal and relatable conversations with them. Respect goes a long way with me so I definitely appreciate that this generation seems to be pretty respectful of other people.

Humor has kind of just been replaced by pop culture references. No one really makes jokes anymore and everyone thinks they’re funny now because they get to bring up a TV show one liner in a conversation.
