The equalizer in the effects loop. Maybe if you want more distortion. I have an Orange TH30 and never head the feeling of not enough gain, but i also run an maxon od808 before amp for more compression and tightness. If you want more gain u maybe try a blackstar distortion , Boss DS, Diezel pedal or anything except the metalzone I'm hoarding shit guitars. I have 8 atm, the 3 main ones: Ibanez RG321w/ passive EMG's ESP LTD MH-400 w/ active EMG's Ibanez GIO 7 string Had a Peavey ValveKing 100w head and cab then downsized to 75w Line 6 Amplifi and 100w Ashton GA100 combo. Barely use them anymore now and just play through TSE x50 and any other plugins. haha neat. had a Valveking 100w too...was really satisfied for years. Awesome clean channel I must admit. Your guitars sound solid to me. Maybe not the best, but you can get alot of it with the right adjustments. Also use audiointerfaces most of the time at home. Did you try out BIAS FX? It´s great IMO

Don't get me wrong I love all my guitars haha. The Ibanez I bought 6 years ago new. I actually picked the LTD up 2 days ago for $250, so happy with it and the 7 cost me $250 aswell. I try to hunt bargains haha.
I have the demos of Bias FX. The demo makes me not want it. I actually thought TH3 Overloud was really good too but now I'm just searching the Internet up and down for free software. The possibilities are endless.

I also look for used guitars in a good shape. It´s incredible how much money you can save. Bought a ESP LTD MH 1000 for about 400€ Really you don´t like it? I´m shocked. IMO this was a revolution in simulation software. It has even more power than a kemper... But i have to admit that the possibilities are limited and you need that tonecloud thing to get the real dope presets. Nice. What else do you use?

The demo of Bias cuts out every 30 seconds or so and really doesn't give you a decent chance to justify spending the money (for me). I have demo versions of TH3 (great), Toontrack EXMix 2 (pretty limited 15 minute demo each use), TSE Audio X50 (by far and away my favourite software - Goes silent every few minutes and if you record with the demo the silence affects it - but still the best I've used). Shred (Acme) - Free customisable amp sim w/effect - Decent LePou amp sims and Impulse responses Multiple random effects, amp sims, impulses. It's a never ending search for tones. I love it. I also have the Amplifi which is pretty sweet running the iPad app through the amp and customising everything but it's not great for heavy tones. I have a very simple Guitar > Focusrite Solo AI > Reaper DAW (I have Pro Tools Light (can't use third party VST's and Ableton Live Lite 9 software that comes with the Focusrite but I can't figure out how to use it). I genuinely love learning and testing all the software out there. Any recommendations bar Bias? (I have a crack for Bias but can't get it to work haha).

Wanted to buy a new Amp yesterday but ended up with a new Tele. Was looking at some Custom Shop Teles but wasn't absolutely sold on one, played a Fender American Elite Telecaster Mn Autumn Blaze Metallic and was really happy for it for the price and took it home with me. The new features of these Teles really make for an upgrade.
Talked with my favorite trusted guitar dealer and he offered me to fill out a Fender Custom Shop Form with me for a CS Tele and if I don't like it he will keep it in the store and he will not force me to buy it... maybe I go done that road.
Main reason I drove a couple of our was a new Amp and I was really happy with the Friedman Dirty Shirley 2017 and wanted to take it with me, but they only had the showroom one which is not for sale... will have to wait 3-4 weeks now. This gives me the opportunity to make up my mind because my favorite trusted guitar dealer "forced" my to play the new Friedman BE 100 with the new Gain Switch and Caps.... and I was really blown away... but 1000 bucks more.. the Dirty Shirley already is a bit out of buget

At the release you could play the Bias demo all day long, but couldnt change the setupt or cgo to the tonecloud. I bought it in a deal for about 69$ and im quite satisfied for practising and recording. Before that i used Guitar rig 5 cracked. That software has a lot of options and features, but the sound dind´t impress me that much....but i like it in the background for tuner, tapes, loops, metronom. Reliable software. Also have an Focusrite, but the scarlett 2nd2 and cubase 5 cracked. I used some of the software you mentioned but i definetly have to try TH3. Thanks man You know any good tutorials for recording, mixing and all this shit? thought myself a few tricks but im not that good

Do u have a link to that guitar? Ou shit. That kind of sucks, but i don´t know....If you had so many amps and weren´t satisfied you should consider the BE100. It´s a shitty hobby because you can´t make compromises with the sound. At the end you pay far to much or you´re disappointed of your gear....SUCKS

TH3 is pretty good (not worth the amount they charge) but I have a cracked version that was sitting in another user account that I had no idea was there until the other day. It's good, I can't get it to work with Reaper though because it loads the old demo version no matter what I try. As far as recording tutorials - all youtube my man. Chernobyl Studios, ForTiorl, actual Reaper tutorials and then any related vids are always gold. I'm still nowhere near wrapping my head around mixing atm. I've been thrashing the TSEX50 demo and just love it. I'm sure there are people here who can recommend any other free/demo software too.

Thanks I will check this out. Sounds promising. I generally don´t like to crack this kind of software, but in most cases it´s too expensive for my purposes Just found out i already have the TSEX50 in my plugins. Should have checked earlier

Let me know what you think of TSEX50. Run the TSE 808 in front of it aswell. I've used the demo enough to pay real money for it, I just havn't yet haha.

Does anyone have any experience with DI'ing and what kind of interface were you running it with? I have a simple set up because I've only been recording my own stuff for a couple months now and just learning about it all. Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface. I run that straight into my DAW (Reaper). The signal can be pretty hot sometimes, you can pick up a Behringer DI box for like $40 at JB that should sort that but otherwise it's perfectly fine to record with from my experience. The Interface only cost me like $140 from memory? You get a shitload of software with it too but it's just lite versions of pro tools (can't use third party VST's with it), abelton live 9 lite (impossible to use) and some equalizers, reverbs and delay shit. My set up atm is generally guitar > focusrite > reaper > tse808 (overdrive pedal) > the LePou ENGL amp sim > pulse impulse response loader with a heap of different cab impuleses.
